David Loveless is admired by many pastors as an example of high-level, effective leadership. In particular, he has been close to the birth of some of the country's best known church strategies. After decades of leading through distinct chapters of spiritual emphasis, Discovery began the process of re-visioning at the end of 2004 as it approached the launch of its first multi-site. Nine months later, the Vision Path was re-articulated with greater brevity and uniqueness than ever before. Not only did Discovery contract with Auxano for the Vision to Grow process, they continued with brand development, marketing services, as well as a Phase Two process for sub-ministry alignment. Discovery Church continues to be a leading model for other churches with over 3000 in attendance in the Orlando area.
