John Shepherd brings almost 20 years of local church and denominational leadership experience to the Auxano team. Prior to joining Auxano, John served at LifeWay Christian Resources in Nashville and the North American Mission Board in Alpharetta, Georgia. As a missional leader, John has planted and pastored churches in Florida and Tennessee that continue to flourish. Drawing from his experience as a pastor and as a ministry team leader for a 3000-member church, John coaches and provides strategic guidance to senior pastors, church staffs, church planters and mission organizations across the continent. His education includes a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University, a M.Div. from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, and a D.Min. in Missions Leadership from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
